Race: to stop now or fight harder?

There are varying opinions on the on going race for the nomination between Clinton and Obama.
Some applaud it as a true showing of democracy. And perhaps they are correct. This race has given states that never really counted at this point in other races a voice.
That said... I was listening to NPR and heard a poll saying that over 20% of Hillary supporters said that if Obama got the nomination he/she would vote for McCaine; and visa-versa. What a scary prospect! Of course we are still far from November and tensions are high in this race, but it makes me question the amount of good this knock-down drag-out fight is doing for our party as a whole.

Will Obama and Hillary tear the party apart?

Well, sorry to say this, but yes, it's an sad, sad fact, since hilary is being supported by the conservatives of the party, and obama by more liberal side of the party, this creates an great division among them.
